MONDAY THRU FRIDAY  9:00AM  -  4:00PM    PAYMENTS  9:00AM - 3:30PM

The Municipal Court is the court of lesser criminal and quasi-criminal jurisdiction. While most indictable complaints are initially filed in Municipal Court, these matters are sent to Superior Court for hearing. Municipal Court hears the following type cases:

• disorderly and petty disorderly persons complaints
• ordinance violations
• driving while intoxicated
• motor vehicle violations
• parking violations
• fish and game violations
• weights and measures violation

The Wanaque Municipal court is in session every Thursday. The sessions on the first, second, and fourth Thursdays of each month are held at 8:00 PM. The third Thursday has a 9:30 AM session.
