The Borough Administrator serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Borough, and is responsible for day to day operations.

The Administrator prepares the annual budget, serves as the purchasing agent, interacts with other governmental agencies, and advises the Mayor and Council on issues affecting the Borough and its residents.

 

The Municipal Clerk serves as:

  • Secretary of the Municipal Corporation
  • Secretary of the Governing Body
  • Chief Administrative Officer of all Elections held in the Municipality
  • Administrative Officer

Other Functions of the Municipal Clerk's Office:

  • Schedule special recycling and garbage pick-ups
  • Voter Registration Applications
  • Issue licenses and permits for: Liquor licenses, Bingo, Raffles, Garage sales, Flea markets, Amusement machines, Ice cream vendors, Peddlers and solicitors, Tire permits, Tow truck, limousine & taxi, Seasonal merchandise applications.
